Features

  • Three algorithms in one pass: MD5, CRC32, and SHA-256 for each file
  • Ready-to-use Word report (.docx) — convenient to attach to documentation or send to colleagues
  • Any file types: documents, archives, images, videos — up to 100 MB each, up to 50 files per task
  • Privacy: the file is deleted immediately after the sums are calculated, the report — after 60 minutes

How It Works

FAQ

Why are checksums needed?
A checksum is a file's "fingerprint". By comparing MD5, CRC32, or SHA-256 after downloading or transferring a file, you ensure it is not corrupted or tampered with: even a single modified byte completely changes the sum.

How much does it cost?
The first file is free, no registration required. After that, it's $0.05 per file from a single MTECH balance. No subscriptions: pay only for actual calculations.

What happens to my files?
The file is read exactly once to calculate the sums and is deleted immediately after—the content is not stored anywhere. The Word report is available for 60 minutes, then deleted permanently.

Which algorithms are supported?
MD5, CRC32, and SHA-256 are calculated simultaneously in a single read pass. MD5 and CRC32 are suitable for quick integrity checks, while SHA-256 is for cryptographically strong authentication.
